charming courtyard living

If I had to do it all over again, I would choose a house with a small courtyard. It seems so much more manageable than a larger yard that I hardly use. It's charming and quaint the way I see it too. And it can make me believe I am in some far off European land for a few minutes or hours each day... for three or four seasons of the year anyway. Sigh!
