Virtual Interior Design Consultation: Client Preparation Guide
Pre-Consultation Technical Requirements:
Ensure your device (phone/tablet) is fully charged with a readily available power source.
A Zoom meeting invitation will be provided.
Access the Benjamin Moore website for real-time color reference.
Pre-Consultation Material Submission:
Provide comprehensive photographic documentation of all interior and exterior spaces, facilitating a holistic understanding of your environment. Please submit high-resolution images to torontodesigners@rogers.com, allowing for detailed review.
Submit all images a minimum of one hour prior to the scheduled consultation; advance submission is preferred.
Provide a floor plan of the space, if available.
Share relevant Pinterest or Houzz inspiration boards.
Optional: A personal photograph for client identification.
Photography Guidelines:
Capture wide-angle photographs from multiple perspectives within each space.
Submit photographs reflecting the space's typical, unedited state.
All submitted photographs will be treated with strict confidentiality.
Consultation Procedure:
Upon commencement of the consultation, a virtual tour of your spaces will be conducted.
Maintain a measuring tape for potential on-site measurements.
Following the tour, a dedicated discussion period will ensue. Clients are advised to have note-taking materials available.
Digital notes can be provided upon request through an email post consult.
Financial and Logistical Information:
Consultation fees are $479 + HST for the initial two hours, with subsequent time billed at $125 per hour in 15-minute increments ($31.25/15-mins).
Pre-payment for the initial two hours is required for new clients.
Upon receipt of payment, access to designer discount information will be granted.
Payment via eTransfer is required prior to the consultation; eTransfer credentials will be provided.
Designer Pre-Consultation Responsibilities:
All client-submitted materials will be reviewed and organized for efficient reference.
Digital resource documents will be provided via email.
Zoom meeting details will be provided at least one hour prior to the consultation.
