did someone say 'wicker'?

Wicker, straw, rattan, natural hemp… there are a lot of words to describe this one element that seems to be coming to the forefront in decor. Simply put, it is the natural look of wicker, and you might say ‘it’s baaack’! Well, I mean, if it ever really left. You just have to look to the big box stores like Ikea to know it is not only back, but back in a big way. If you like the idea of adding something like this to your decor, you might like to start with something small like a new lamp shade, a gently used wicker tray from the second hand shop, or a new planter cover from Ikea. Even some natural placemats are easy since you can bring them out only when you like.
