2022 trends

Each year I put out a trends blog. But who am I to predict trends? Maybe I should call it a 'how to embrace what you love without worrying about trends” blog. That seems to be the better approach for me. And what I always preach to my clients anyway.

So for me, I will be embracing the following this year:

Minimal maximalism with a mix of pattern and simplicity

Plants - if you haven't already added one, or a bunch, this is never a bad trend

Home offices that are not just makeshift, even if you don't have a lot of space

Wallpaper - dark or light - for me it's all about the balance - here we see it with quiet furniture

Embrace gallery walls again, and you don't have to be neat about it

Wood kitchens feel warm and modern again

Updated vintage - especially in colourful bathrooms

Warm minimalism

Anything Leanne Ford - I love her fearless style
