I completed an upgrade to make my life easier
I recently decided to upgrade my bathroom to make life a little easier. I decided having laundry on the main floor was the way to go, so, it got a mini-revamp.
Fifteen years ago, I renovated this bathroom and added classic white subway tiles and a cool brick wall. We also splurged on a large soaking tub – a dream come true! Now, 15 years later, I kept the timeless elements like the tiles, tub, and toilet. But I swapped out the old vanity for a smaller one in a new location, added some extra storage, and finally brought the laundry upstairs!
I've included photos of the bathroom's journey: the original layout (check out the 50s green tiles, which I have to say I did like but it was time), you’ll see the 15-year-old brick wall version, and now the fresh, all-white look. I'm a huge fan of white bathrooms – they just feel so clean, bright and classic to me. My favourite new addition is the unlacquered brass faucet from Ginger's – a little splurge that I absolutely love! And yes, I embraced the mixed metal trend, keeping everything else chrome.
