holiday gifts that make sense in these times

Just because this holiday season will be different than others, it doesn’t mean we don’t still need to connect and share gifts. But with lock-down in place in many places, it’s hard. Thankfully, online shopping has never been easier. Keeping it as local and eco-friendly as possible is always a good option too, and this year perhaps even more than ever.

Here are some beautiful gift ideas that I hope you will find helpful in sharing your love and gratitude with your loved ones for the 2020 season. Cheers!

Local wineries have some fabulous tasting wines, and of course keeping our holiday dollars in Canada is a good thing! One of my favourites is Baco Noir from Henry of Pelham. Their Oaked Chardonnay is my white wine favourite. If you order 12 bottles directly from their website, shipping is free and comes quickly. Check them out here, and don’t forget to check out many of the other great Canadian wineries too.

Chocolates anyone? Who doesn’t love a gorgeous and delicious chocolate during the holidays? At Avoca there are many options that are gluten free, dairy free, vegan… and it can come gift boxed so what could be easier? There are two locations in Toronto, they are proudly Canadian, and they give back too. I’ve tasted many of these treats and the quality is delectably outstanding!! Check it out here.

The original Tupperware products literally last a lifetime! Do it once, do it right and gain their trust with their lifetime warranty. So many price points for gifting too. If you don’t have your own rep yet, why not choose Jacqui, my dear friend since elementary school! Here is her link.
